Activating your Foglight subscription license on the QorePortal

As a prerequisite, you must purchase a Foglight subscription license from your Quest Sales representative.

This topic describes the basic steps required to activate your Foglight subscription license on the QorePortal.

1. Purchase a Foglight subscription license from your Quest Sales representative.

   You receive a subscription license by email. This license is required for the next step.

2. Existing QorePortal users please skip to step 6.
3. For new QorePortal customers, go to https://qoreportal.quest.com and click Sign up for a new account. Proceed to step 5.
4. Complete the web form and click Sign Up.
5. On the Add License Numbers page, in the License Number text box, carefully enter the license number of your Foglight subscription license, and then click Add License Numbers. You have completed this procedure.
6. Log into the QorePortal at https://qoreportal.quest.com. and from the header, click Settings.
7. If required, in the left navigation menu, click Licensing.

   The Licensing page displays.

8. From the top of the page, click Foglight, and then click Add License.
9. In the Add License dialog box, carefully enter the license number of your Foglight subscription license, and then click Add License.

   The dialog box closes, and the license you entered appears on the Foglight Licenses page. You have completed this procedure.
