Using the Ideation portal

Customers can use the Quest Data Protection Portal Ideation portal to communicate ideas on new or existing features. From this portal you can filter existing ideas, browse ideas posted by other users, and vote for them.

Feedback for beta features

Quest Software considers customer feedback when developing new features, and sometimes includes these features in beta form. Our intention is to make beta features available to our customers as early as practical, and to gauge whether our efforts meet demand.

Customers are strongly encouraged to use the Ideation portal to provide feedback on beta features. Tell us what features you like, what improvements or additions you would like to see in the future, and what aspects of a feature you do not consider would be useful.

Eligibility

Any Quest customer can use the Ideation portal. In general, use the same email address you use to access Quest products and services. For example, to enter ideas about the QorePortal, use your QorePortal login credentials to access the Ideation portal.

You can access the Ideation portal from QorePortal by following the procedure below.

Logging into the Ideation portal from QorePortal

Follow these steps to leave us your feedback.

From the QorePortal header, click on the circle with your initials to expand the user profile drop-down menu, and select Submit an idea.
A new browser window opens, serving as a bridge between the QorePortal and the Quest Data Protection Portal Ideation portal.
In the Email text box, enter your email address and then click Next.
The first time you log into the Ideation portal, you will see the Aha! login page. Select your preferred method, enter your credentials, and then click Log in. If you have previously logged in, skip to the next step.
Note: If you have trouble logging in, or have not registered as a user for the ideation portal, click the Contact us link and send a request by email to be a contributor to the Quest ideation portal.

From the left navigation menu of the Ideation portal, you can click Add a newe idea, or you can use the filters to see existing posted ideas. For example, click QorePortal to browse through postings related to QorePortal.
